In 1892 a one story addition was added to the northeast portion of the property. By 1898 the building consisted of offices on the 2nd floor and sleeping rooms on the 3rd floor. There was a variety of businesses on the first floor and basement, including a drug store, candy store, grocery, saloon and other retail.
In 1909 another addition was added to the north west portion of the building. In 1924, the building consisted of a hotel on the 3rd floor, offices on the 2nd floor and a variety of businesses on the first floor and basement, including a restaurant, sweet shop, drug store, grocery store and the American Savings Bank pictured below.

Between 1924 and 1974, the building underwent several interior renovations to accommodate several different tenants. The 2nd and 3rd floors became office space and the first floor and basement continued as retail space, including several different banks. In the 1980's when the building was owned by First Federal Savings, the exterior of the building went through major renovations including new windows, aluminum grid structure that covered the 2nd and 3rd floor and black onix type slate covered the exterior of the first floor.
From 1998-2000 the current owner spent two years restoring the building back to the original appearance from the early 1900's. The building has 8,900 square feet of space available on the first floor for office or retail and upscale loft style apartments on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
